Getting up On A Wakeboard

Therefore, new wakeboarding enthusiasts should read the few pointers below. The first step is obviously to fasten your wakeboard to your feet and take the rope handle in your hands. Then they must take the handle of the rope. One needs to hold onto it to stay connected to the boat.
Once you have done the above, you need to back into the water and wait for the boat to begin - this is the first initial yet important position as the boat will begin to move. This is the first and most important step when one starts to learn. At this point the wakeboard’s position is parallel to the rear of the boat. While you are lying in the water, your toes are pointed up which means the wakeboard is not flat on the surface of the water but resting on its edge, as you wait for the action to begin.
Till the boat begins to pull you, the only part of your body that is connected to the wakeboard will be your feet No amount of pulling is going to help. This means that till the boat begins movement, the wakeboard is the only solid contact you have. You must balance your body along with the movement and the tempo of the boat. Once you are confident, you can rise up on the wakeboard. Do not resist the pull of the handle or be over eager in your response to the tug of the rope. Once you have gained confidence, you can straighten yourself in a manner in which you turn your hip in a manner which will bring one foot ahead of the other and tilt the wakeboard in a position which is parallel to the rear of the boat.
When you rise make sure that you are able to turn your hip in a manner which will cause the wakeboard to get into a straight line, directly in sync with the boat than its earlier position. And maintain your hold over the rope handle. This means that one of your feet is in front of another. Most of your body weight is on the back foot while the wakeboard’s front portion is at an angle on the waters.
Your hands holding the rope is resting it against your front hip while you surge ahead following the boat.
