Soccer Coaching Drills : How To Make Them Fun-Filled

Subsequently, engage them in group or individual activities. Take an example, the player who arrives first starts juggling the ball. As players keep coming by, they can join him. In this way the whole group is involved in the activity. If the group becomes bigger for the soccer coaching drills, it is a good idea to divide it into groups.
There are other productive and interesting activities such as soccer golf where the players can aim to hit a distant object. There is another activity called the soccer volleyball in which the kids play in a small area and the idea is not to let the ball touch the ground. These soccer coaching exercises add an element of variety and fun to the sessions.
Apart from it, have the players dribble the ball and also use other parts of the body but not hands. Do not be too pushy. Keep in kind that they are children and will take time to master the skills. As the ball approaches the player, shout the name of the body part that you want the player to use in trapping it. Then the player has to use that body part only. This helps them concentrate on it.
Another part of exciting drills is circuit training. It is extremely useful with large number of players. It is recommended to divide the players into tiny batches and involve them in great many activities. They should do these continuously with small breaks in-between.
